The brain operates in 4 different states:

Beta - 30Hz to 14Hz - The waking state.

Alpha - 14Hz to 7Hz - The Day dream state.

Theta - 7Hz to 4Hz - The just barely not sleeping state.

Delta - 4Hz to 0.1Hz - The deep sleep state.




So, what are the 3 ways that meditation can help you sleep better?
