Dreams: tethered, untethered and waking
Hello everyone, I am Blaine Lambert at AcatalepticHypnosis.com, I will be your host and hypnotist. Today we will be talking about a metaphor for the mind:
This is a metaphor.
The Reality that we experience is a construct of our mind. To keep things simple let's say there are three types of reality constructs:
1) The Tethered Dream - This is regular reality for most people. It follows regular, logical rules.
2) The Untethered Dream - This is a regular dream, it does not follow regular or logical rules and is blindly accepted by the dreamer.
3) The Waking Dream - This is a controlled, intentional Untethered Dream. It allows one to be the person they want to be while bypassing the critical factor, they gain experience as real as any normal moment.
With Hypnosis we can intentionally create waking dreams to help shape the person's Tethered Dream to match what they want their life to be.

Does hypnosis work immediately? Hypnosis is a skill that involves focused concentration and an almost entirely inward focus. The more that someone practices achieving this state, the more effective and immediate the results.
